Lakeshore Surge was formed in 2005 as the Grand Haven Area Young Professionals by area professionals who found that there was not an easy way for newcomers to the area and younger professionals to meet and get to know others in the north west Ottawa County area.

Lakeshore Surge is a group of individuals focused on expanding business relationships and developing friendships through social interaction and community involvement.

We hope to attract and retain talent in the lakeshore - focusing on the communities of Grand Haven, Spring Lake, Muskegon, Coopersville and the areas in between. Lakeshore Surge is a portal for these people to find new friends, get involved in the community by volunteering and serving in different positions within the areas government, and to build their business.
